[asterisk-dev] asterisk 1.4.11 - jitter wrongly detected?

Hello everybody,
I've switched two of our voip servers from 1.2.x to 1.4.11, but strange 
problem emerged:
the servers are interconnected via IAX using shaped line (2mb, 192k 
dedicated to voip, stable pings ~20ms)
with 1.2.x, everything worked fine, but with 1.4.11, the quality of calls 
going through IAX link is terrible (using both gsm and alaw codecs).
checking iax netstats shows that there is terrible jitter (it grows over 
1000ms), but I don't think that the jitter can be that bad - actually by 
sniffing the line, it seems that packets are coming on time and in right 
order, so maybe there is some problem with jitter detection?
did somebody have this problem?
