Okay, does silence means nobody using these defines and dsp.c can be
simplified removing OLD_DSP_ROUTINES completely and doing FAX_DETECT
unconditionally?

Subject: [asterisk-dev] dsp questions

Hello.

I wanted to do some enhancements in the dsp.c and found it a bit tricky
because code is full of #ifdefs and some modifications needs to be
applied to all "alternative" implementations of the same stuff. So I
have two questions:

1. Just curious if someone still uses OLD_DSP_ROUTINES and why?

2. What is the need in FAX_DETECT define? Application can control
fax detection by the means of DSP flags so why disable fax detection
support completely with define?

Regards,

Dmitry Andrianov
