[asterisk-dev] Play a file on a channel from the Manager API

Hi,

We have a situation were we need to play a file on a bridged channel, at
different times during a call.  We basically want to use the Playback()
function from the Manager API.  This is what we hoped to do ....

Action: Login
UserName: testuser
Secret: testpass

Action: Playback
Channel: SIP/channel_name
File: file_to_play

Action: Logoff


Is there any way to play a file on a channel from the Manager API (other
than from Originate)?
