An interesting question. You disregarded it because the message told
you to do so, which means you didn't disregard it. Somehow reminds me
of the Liar Paradox http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liar_paradox , but I
think this one resolves by taking time, i.e. the possibility of
changing state during time, into account.
