What you are looking for is a 2 B channel transfer (2BCT) for Mitel swicthes, or Release Link Trunking (RLT) on DMS systems. I believe that RLT is implemented as a patch in 1.2 (part of 1.4) and Matt is trying to test a Mitel QSIG version of 2BCT for the Mitel switch. These will permit you to transfer a call back to the PSTN without tying up 2 PRI channels. Keep in mind that this is ONLY available when the first call is inbound.
