Oddly enough you would have to do both really. The meetme function is
using the audio mixing of the zaptel drivers and the timing functions to
make it all perform in a realtime like way. 

So unless you become a good C programmer and are able to understand how
to make a good audio mixing modules, you are unlikely to get the
requirement fullfilled.
