[asterisk-dev] nativeformats and capabilities

Hi

1. What's the difference between ast_channel's nativeformats and
ast_channel_tech's capabilities? Which holds the formats in use, and
which holds the formats you support in general, or does it work
differently?

2. Let's say you have a channel that only supports certain codecs. So
when you specify "allow=all", it can't fill in *all* of them, just the
ones you support, right? Which of the 2 fields should be filled in? How
can you filter out the ones you don't want?
