Yes, please add AMR to Asterisk format list.
I need it to play 3gpp content to a 3G phone using the app_mp4 and h324m lib
I'm currently developing.

Appart of that ffmpeg supports amr encoding/decoding with the www.3gpp.org
reference encoder/decoder.
