[asterisk-dev] APIs to interact with Asterisk server

Hi,
    Thanks for ur information. I would like to know how we (through an
application) can communicate with Asterisk to make call or drop or something
else and how we can receive the events sent by them. Is there any predefined
packet structure to send action and receive events? Please help me if u knew
something regarding this. Thanks in advance.
