[asterisk-dev] Learning Asterisk Internals

I'm trying to learn asterisk internals. I want to see the different code
sections that sip call goes trough. I'm mainly concerned with SIP calls.
Right now I have debug => debug on logger.conf but would like to see more.
I've tried using DDD but this does not show chan_sip.c
What's the best debugging tool that you guys use or what's the best way to
learn asterisk internals?
