hi

test-driving trunk on my mac, i noticed a warning "Cannot obtain load  
average on this system"... Testing out the getloadavg() call in a  
small program gave me all i wanted, and later i found the function  
rewritten in main/utils.c

Is there a particular reason for this new code when there's one in  
gnu/linux and bsd already?
