And, more importantly, to encourage the *publishers* to continue to
buy works which are licensed under terms which permit such free
redistribution.  And while we're at it, kudos to O'Reilly: they didn't
*have* to distribute *their book design and copyedit* work for free,
just because they let these authors release the work that way, but they
did.

By all means, thank them with your wallet.
