If you missed it as a bug report[0], now is your chance to grab it as a
branch: http://svn.digium.com/svn/zaptel/team/tzafrir/zaphelper

While rewriting the init.d script using the higher-level finctions I now
have, I decided to get rid of other types of cruft. Mainly, the
post-install action for running ztcfg. This allows me to use a sane and
simple init.d script.

Please take a look at this (Once you've finished going over bugs in the 
1.4 branch, that is).
