[asterisk-dev] Unable to make SIP calls

I'm using asterisk beta 1.4.0 and running on Mac OS X.

I get the following error message when I try to make a
call from X-lite:

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found:
_ast_pickup_ext
  Referenced from:
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_sip.so
  Expected in: flat namespace

dyld: Symbol not found: _ast_pickup_ext
  Referenced from:
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/chan_sip.so
  Expected in: flat namespace

Trace/BPT trap

Any ideas how I might be able to resolve this error?
