[asterisk-dev] Zaptel Transcoder issues (and possible conflict with PRI cards)

Slightly off-topic: I'mtrying tofigure out how to detect a
zttranscode card inthe system. modprobe zttranscode looks like something
that will always work, as it does not interact with the hardware.

So Igather I need something like:

  modprobe zttranscode
  head -c 0 /dev/zap/transcode

That is: load the module and try to open /dev/zap/transcode
Should this work when Asteriskdoes not run? When Asterisk does run?
