If OS developer doing interoperability/compatibility testing someone should pay
for this job. When application developers will do those tests itself then
software price will be increased while OS price will be dropped.

But people usualy whinning about bad OS instead of bad/buggy application
software incorrectly uses standard features or heavily uses non-standard
internal OS features without proper checks.
