I am with Kevin on this.  I think it is *stupid* to rename options just to 
make sure that asshats who don't read UPGRADE.txt before upgrading aren't 
surprised.

Having said that, I've been the asshat a few times for precisely that reason.  
But you know what?  I realized it was my own damn fault.
