thnx all for answer
BUT the problem is is this:
i have asterisk svn head release behind a nat; a collegue connect by outside
using a win application, diax (diax v0.9.15a(IT));
he is behind a nat, too;
i have asterisk segfaulting every five/ten minutes :(

every time, segfault after the message:
Mar  7 17:36:34 DEBUG[8703]: chan_iax2.c:6621 socket_read: Really destroying
2, having been acked on final message

i removed nat rule on adsl router, nothing else, asterisk stopped
segfaulting;

conclusion:
asterisk is very very vulnerable to
socket_read: Packet arrived out of order (expecting 2, got 1)
udp error

If u can assist me, i will put more insight on this issue; i tried to issue:
iax2 debug
but i was overflooded with a massive of socket read error:
thousands message per seconds!!

i hope that someone there is interested on this isuue and suggest me what
diagnostic tools to use to report evidence of what is happening

sorry for bad english :(

Crashing is the only thing windows does quickly.
