Only rarely does it cause me trouble. But if you have one message that
was rapid fired and logged 2k or more entries in the course of a couple
of minutes, you would be happier to not waste the drive space. Otherwise
it becomes a way of DOSing a machine. Make it log enough stuff till the
log partition is full and unusable.
