[Asterisk-Dev] why doesn't asterisk support TCP

Dear all:

I search for the information about asterisk and tcp .

I find that there was a project supporting the tcp in asterisk few months ago.
But now I can not download any thing from the project webpage.

Does anyone know how to get the information or code suporting the tcp transporting in Asterisk ??
