[asterisk-dev] Zaptel 1.0 to latest version update

This question about versions got me thinking.

The svn tags and branches version numbers jump from 1.0.x to 1.2.x

The recent announcement about the Asterisk Development and Release Cycle
mentioned  "Asterisk 1.4 is scheduled to be released in the beginning of
July, 2006".

Is there some phobia about odd numbers?  Why wouldn't the next "release"
be Asterisk 1.3?
