It's being worked on as issue 7767 on the bugtracker.  The code is not
yet complete, though, so while the patch demonstrates the feasibility
of this change, not all of the necessary components are fully fleshed
out.  Specifically, the hints are unlikely to perform correctly after an
'extensions reload'.
