I had this issue with an older SVN that I did an svn update to the
latest. Once I killed the tree completely and checked out from scratch,
it worked fine. It's probably a result of the loader changes kpfleming
put in recently.

Subject: [asterisk-dev] loader broken?
I had a previous SVN load running without problems, but I just pulled
SVN-trunk-r40964 and am having problems getting it to load modules.
Asterisk does compile without errors. I've followed the compilation
directions exactly (as far as I can tell), and have even wiped things
out a few times and recompiled all with the same results. Starting it up
with verbose I see the following:
[Aug 24 13:25:48] NOTICE[31528]: loader.c:786 load_modules: 144 modules
will be loaded.
[Aug 24 13:25:48] WARNING[31528]: loader.c:392 load_dynamic_module:
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/res_musiconhold.so: invalid mode for
dlopen(): Invalid argument
[Aug 24 13:25:48] WARNING[31528]: loader.c:392 load_dynamic_module:
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/res_adsi.so: invalid mode for dlopen():
Invalid argument
[Aug 24 13:25:48] WARNING[31528]: loader.c:392 load_dynamic_module:
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/res_features.so: invalid mode for
dlopen(): Invalid argument
If I pull those modules out and try again I'll just get the same error
with other modules (so I believe this applies to all of the modules
though I've not actually tested every one). From the console I see the
following:
========================================================================
=
Connected to Asterisk SVN-trunk-r40964 currently running on test1 (pid =
32094) pup*CLI> show modules
Module Description
Use Count
0 modules loaded
pup*CLI>
Given that I don't see anyone else reporting this issue, anyone know
where I'm going wrong here?
Thanks.
