Erv -
What you might be looking for is something that implements the SMDR
standard for PABX call accounting records. This has been discussed
previously on the -users list, but I have not seen the code submitted
to the SVN tree in any form. This SMDR format is used widely with
hotel/motel PABX billing systems, and is typically delivered over
serial port connections to an external accounting system.
It does not seem particularly difficult to write such a module for
Asterisk that will export SMDR logs, since the CDR tools within
Asterisk are fairly modular. Perhaps it has already been done by
some private parties who have not released the code to the Asterisk
community. Perhaps, as mentioned, you could do it or pay someone to
do it and release the code.
