[asterisk-dev] WARNING: new_loader_completion merged into SVN trunk

I have just merged the new_loader_completion branch into SVN trunk... so expect some troubles with your existing working copies. This branch contained some significant restructuring of the build trees and Makefiles, as well as a completely new module loader.

Two warnings:

1) 'make dont-optimize' and 'make valgrind' are gone, replaced by the DONT_OPTIMIZE setting in the Compiler Flags section of 'make menuselect'

2) There is a new LOADABLE_MODULES setting in the Compiler Flags section of 'make menuselect'; with it turned off, Asterisk will not support loading dynamic (.so) modules at all. Unfortunately menuselect does not know how to default it to on in EXISTING checkouts... new checkouts are fine. If you don't turn it on, and don't embed any modules into the Asterisk binary, your copy of Asterisk will have very little functionality :-)

Please keep bug reports related to these changes (for the next week or so anyway) on this mailing list, rather than the bug tracker. Thanks, and enjoy!
