You have four options (in order of their conception) for asterisk

   1. libisup from cosini
   2. ss7box from xygnada/sangoma
   3. ss7 from sifira
   4. chan_ss7 from digium

all are cost effective compared to traditional ss7 offerings

the last two are the most recent, and open source, and gaining features
rapidly

cosini is the most expensive of the lot, and some say the most mature

we use ss7box extensively because of their saner pricing model
