[asterisk-dev] Comedian Mail/Asterisk Mail/Comedian Mail Again?

I have had a strange set of experiences with the recent "automatically
download and install the sound files" changes to SVN-trunk. I'm sure
someone can explain what's going on, but I can't :-)

Right after the change was made to auto-download, I got a new set of
files on my system. They were the ones with the long spaces in them,
but Allison's voicemail prompt still called the system "Comedian Mail."

Then, following a post from Kevin that the inter-syllabic spaces had
been tightened up, I downloaded the files manually, and to my surprise
the main prompt changed to say, "Asterisk Mail."

Now a week or so again the system auto-detected something that caused it
to reinstall the files yet again. Now the syllable spacing is OK, but
Allison is back to her comedic tricks again with the VMM prompt.

Can anyone explain the symantics behind this happening in this fashion?

What *should* the main voicemail entry prompt "officially" be?

Thanks.

B.

p.s. I haven't dug the makefiles, but I would think it would be good to
have an option to let the administrator make his own decisions on this
front. Maybe that's possible and I don't know how?
