[asterisk-dev] SIP Registration conundrum

A couple of weeks ago, I posted quite a detailed description of a SIP
registration problem I am having. Because it was not a development
question, I posted it to asterisk-users, as I should.

However, I have had zero replies to it, which is rather discouraging.
Perhaps the only people who know enough about SIP to comment on it
hang out here instead of the busy -users. Or whatever. Perhaps I should
have ranted a bit :-)

If anyone here on -dev who is familiar with the workings of SIP has
time to read through my original posting and offer any comments,
I would be very grateful indeed. It can be found here:
