I'm sorry to hear you are having problems, as this certainly isn't the
norm with Asterisk.  Unfortunately, the asterisk-dev list isn't the
proper forum to discuss these types of issues.  This mailing list is for
the core developers of Asterisk to discuss the source code and
architecture of Asterisk itself.  (It's not a place to take your
problems if nobody on the -users list responds.)

If I were you, I'd ask again on the -users list, dig into the log files,
try to find out what process was hogging the CPU, etc.
