Well, I've got that two-upped.  A while back our indexes were kinda 
screwy, so when you did any sorta database function using the psql cli, it 
took forever, however when you loaded it in odbc it worked immediately... 
not sure why though :)  And stability....... we've been running postgres 
through odbc for about 6 months now and have never had an odbc related 
problem.  Works like a charm.
