Hello,

Basically SMS service defined as application of SCCP (layer 3/4 of SS7), which is definitely connection-less and usually
isn't bridged to PRI. Some companies could have support for ETSI's "inband" variant for SMSing, but this is very, very
small number of operators providing such services.
