Mark wasn't there for most of the developer meetings. Not much was talked
about in relation to IAX, other than some said it was better than SIP(sorry
Olle :) )
I love IAX and have two IAX hardphones that work anywhere there is internet
that I've tried them, but until there is an official spec it's not going to
be easy to convince more manufacturers to support it.
I fully understand that an IAX spec is not on the top of the Digium priority
list and having one would make it harder to add things to it as they have
done over the last year, but I am very much looking forward to the day that
I can put an IAX firmware version on my Polycom phones.
