[Asterisk-Dev] CVS server problem?

I build from CVS almost every day.  I'm not a guru, but figure this 
message needs to get to those who are.  If it's my own cluelessness I'll 
take my lumps:

 > # cvs checkout zaptel libpri asterisk
 > can't create temporary directory /tmp/cvs-serv11669
 > No space left on device

But my devices are just fine:

> # df
> Filesystem           1k-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
> /dev/hda1              1984488    784876   1097176  42% /
> /dev/hda2              3178232   2712040    302140  90% /usr
> /dev/hda3              4137488    244924   3678996   7% /home
> 10.1.2.2:/usr/src     37846384  13231296  22661584  37% /splurge
