[Asterisk-Dev] chan_sip development

Hi all,

There have been various comments over the last few months that people 
are doing wonderful things to make chan_sip much cleaner and more 
generalised. I have been using some very crude changes to chan_sip in 
testing T.38, waiting for a wonderful new chan_sip to which I can make 
elegant changes. So far, what is in CVS still looks nasty. Can anyone 
tell me what is really happening?
