What is implemented in Asterisk today is basically 'phase 1', to prove 
that the parser will work and will be able to handle everything needed 
by the built-in apps.

Once that has stabilized, 'phase 2' might be to create a new (optional) 
entry point for apps to supply that receives the arguments already parsed.
