Not at all. Since he's presumably subscribed to the list, his mail
server will be receiving mail from lists.digium.com, and is likely to be
looking it up in DNS every time that happens, to check it's a valid
source address for email. DNS gets cached, so the MX records for
'lists.digium.com' and their corresponding A and AAAA records are
probably in cache on the local DNS server of _every_ subscriber.

That doesn't help him look up 'cvs.digium.com' though.

It might help to wind up the TTL to something longer than a single day,
too.
