1.0.8 is the the stable branch. It has been a copy of the branch v1-0 of
the CVS. HEAD will eventually become 1.2 .

Bristuff 0.2.0-RC8g was vs. 1.0.7 . Bristuff 0.2.0 RC8h which was
released shortly after 1.0.8 is indeed vs. 1.0.8.

There are also some bristuff-cvs patches that I believe are patches
against the HEAD branch, but I never tested those.
