[Asterisk-Dev] Asterisk and C5

Hi,

I am new to Asterisk and to this list. I have searched around and can't find 
much info on this...

Does Asterisk support C5 (CCITT5) signalling for communicating with carriers 
that use this system (and plenty still do) and/or to communicate with other 
Asterisk pbx's over IP? i.e if I wanted to use C5 to communicate between 
Asterisk PBX's rather than the usual method.
