Monotone also recently implemented a build system.  Check out
<http://venge.net:9000/> and <http://venge.net/monotone/bb-howto.txt>.
While you probably can't use their system directly (as it depends on
monotone) it's an interesting system.  In particular, it allows
volunteers to "donate" cycles on unusual hardware/software combos.
