[Asterisk-Dev] Parsing out Name and Number out of channel->callerid

I'm doing a tweaked monitoring app for Asterisk and I'd like to know if
I have something in the lines of the CALLERIDNAME and CALLERIDNUM
dialplan variables accessible to me in C. What I do have is the
chan->callerid that gets passed to me. This has the whole enchilada like
'"Joe Blow" <4004 at somewhere>'.

I could parse the number out of this myself, but is there a better way?
