[Asterisk-Dev] voicemailMain

hi to all! i'm just newbie in this list ;)
I'd like to change my voicemailMain settings like changing the options of 
the menu...

/usr/local/src/asterisk/apps
[root at asterisk01 apps]# ls | grep mail
app_hasnewvoicemail.c
app_hasnewvoicemail.o
app_hasnewvoicemail.so
app_voicemail.c
app_voicemail.o
app_voicemail.so

i've been looking app_voicemail.c but i don't understand how does it 
works...
could you help me?
