[Asterisk-Dev] How can i receive all call events from an application?

Hello,
I need receive all call events of a list of channels in Asterisk. The events are:
 - call delivered
 - call disconnected
 - call answered
 - call held
 - call retrieved
 - call conferenced
 - call transferred
 - etc.

Is possible retrieve that information using  ast_waitfor_n and ast_read?

If the answer is NO how can i do it?
