I don't think it would be easy to put into asterisk-addons, since it 
would only be in a branch, not in the HEAD revision. That's tricky to do 
well with CVS.

If you want to do this, I'd suggest creating a completely separate CVS 
tree for it, something like "asterisk-1-0-features"...
