I'm working on an IPv6 patch. It is designed as a layer between other parts of
Asterisk and the C library. The basic functionality are pretty much working,
but the hard part will be to fall back to IPv4 when a final destination
doesn't support IPv6 [1]. The patch will need a lot of testing, since it
modifies (almost) all networking code in Asterisk.
