[Asterisk-Dev] Feature request: CDR to serial port

I'm interested in a module that would allow asterisk to output (based upon 
a config file) certain CDR entries to a serial interface.

You should be able to configure in the config file for the module, the 
serial device to use as well as which cdr fields to export and in which order.
You should also be able to specify the separator (default is comma, but any 
should be allowable including specials such as new line, etc.)

This module would allow asterisk to interface with many of the most popular 
hotel billing systems as well as some other specialty billing systems.


However there are some things to think about, such as preventing internal 
entries (s, h, voicemail access, etc.) from being sent out to the serial 
cdr system.  Some kind of filter would be required.

Has anyone headed down this path?
