OK,

150$ to a developer that fixes ZapRAS by Monday morning [or just 
demonstrates that ZapRAS actually works].

To make it -dev material:

when CONFIG_ZAPATA_PPP is enabled, and when ZapRAS call is in progress - 
pppd sees no data back from the other end, and d-channel starts seeing 
mysterious HDLC aborts/FCS erros. That makes me think that some buffers 
are being stepped on in zaptel code (namely, putbuf_chunk).
