Depends on what you are trying to do. 

First understand that this mailing list is not about porting apps to the
Zapata API directly. We are here for Asterisk applications and Asterisk
works with all the channel drivers such as Zapata.

The API for Asterisk is very different from those for the Dialogic
hardware. Since Asterisk handles the channels, your application only
needs be concerned  with handling the audio and any DTMF work once
Asterisk has already packaged it up for you.
