[Asterisk-Dev] Asterisk and SIP

Hi;

To start with the Asterisk Source, should I start with
open SIP source or it is enough to know about OPAL in
the openh323 which contains SIP? Any one can advise
me?

Also to compile Asterisk, I need to compile open SIP
source firstly?
