hi,
i Sthiti working in Adyasystems & software Pvt. Ltd... i am finding lots of
problem in
handling asterisk... i have installed asterisk in a Red hat Linux 8 sytem.,
but i am unable to dial or make any extensions.... although i am having a
sound card, TDM400p and X100p card in my linux pc. i am very confused where
to modify or add something so that i will be able to dial...i know the
syntax...whether to write in any existing file or i have to create a file of
my own.
The bottom line is my work has stopped...and the deadline for submitting
this project is also nearing.. i am really in need of some help...i just
want to know how to start with asterisk,and where to give the extension
number...and to dial the extension...
i am not even using any E1 or T1 lines , i have just the PSTN line, and want
to dial an extension.

Please help me....
