[Asterisk-Dev] ast_expr.y compiliation failures with RH7.2

I am running bison-1.35-3mdk.

So that can't be a good answer. There may have been a change in bison
between the two releases but I doubt that. I am on a different distro,
but I did a fresh checkout and got no errors. Got other errors but
nothing major and Asterisk as stable and runs great on that machine.

Curious: What changes were made to ast_expr and why??

I experienced similar problems earlier TODAY and asked the same
question. I
can't help you identify the problem, but I got it also (running RH 9).
The
recommendation I got was :

"Update your bision to version 1.875 and next time pay attention to the
list
before posting as this exact topic has already been discussed TODAY."

I would note that none of the entries (prior to yours) mentioned
anything at
all about problems compiling * after getting the new CVS.
